DESCRIPTION:
LWW - Lady's Patek Philippe retailed by Tiffany & Co, Genève, circa 1910s, manual wind, 13mm x 29mm to lug tips, 12mm wire lug width, original 18K yellow gold hinged snap back case with enameled bezel and four round mine cut diamonds set at corners, engraved monogram to rear "L.W.B," one piece suede strap, refinished white dial with original enamel painted details still present, 16J, s#174529. An interesting piece from a transitional period in wristwatches. Gross weight of assembled watch without strap 6.2 dwt (9.8 g).
CONDITION:
Mvt: Running, excellent-plus cosmetic mvt condition overall, no oxide, light fine scratches to plates; excellent-plus refinished dial with light surface spotting and dust on surface; excellent blued steel hands; polished case shows medium wear, lugs appear to either have been repaired or replaced entirely with the cleanup of excess solder having nearly removed the entire rear Patek signature and serial number; crown shows very little wear; good glass crystal.
